Sponsoring

Sponsorship Opportunities

• We are very flexible in our approach and welcome any new and interesting suggestions with regards to partnerships provided that they are in keeping with the ethos of the festival and add value to our event. We have immediate decision making capacity.
• There are a number of different ways in which we see partnerships working but these are by no means set in stone and we regard this document as a brief for further negotiation with interested parties. They range from commercial opportunity, altruistic support to educational and workshop support and range from $5,000 to $50,000 tailored to suit individual needs.
• We are keen however that any partnerships we set up in 2010 are for the long term rather than simply for the 2010 event as this enables us to keep the momentum going and maximises the potential benefits for all parties.
• We would like our partnerships to be a year round relationship and can be linked with our other activities too, similar to our relationship with current partners, so that we can grow sales and promote both the festival and its partners in arts, entertainment and education at all times.

What We Offer Partners: We offer promotional opportunity in return for various levels of spend or in-kind support. For example:

• Branding and naming rights for sections of the festival and/or stages
• TV Filming and Live Radio opportunities including worldwide digital network exposure
• Branding and web addresses on all flyers produced and distributed throughout Bulawayo (via venues, tourist racks, shops, restaurants etc), via door drops to targeted households in the townships and suburbs, via promotional teams in key towns and cities throughout Zimbabwe & parts of Southern Africa. Branding on event posters & banners
• Logos on press ads placed where size allows and on all sponsored acts promotion
• Branding and web links within the official festival programme (as long as the partnership is confirmed before we go to print)
• Logos and mentions on the Partners page on the www.ibumbafestival.com website plus addition of a direct link from the festival website and reference on our sister sites at www.sabelamusic.com and the www.siyaya-arts.com site
• Mentions in national media coverage through our media partners and through our press campaigns and mutual e-mailer to our client databases (over 5000 addresses) to announce the partnership
• Promotional sales area at the festival and distribution/sampling rights
• Tickets for hospitality and reduced price ticket offers for partners own clients

This list is not exhaustive and other suggestions can be discussed…
